An evening of film
7pm-9pm
£15 / £12 members
Immerse yourself in creative depictions of our deep and enduring connection with the sea, inspired by our current exhibitions.
The evening includes a curated selection of short films by local filmmakers – Nichola Bruce, whose work features in The Sun Feeds the Wind, Rebecca Marshall and Chloe White.
This will be followed by a screening of Leviathan (2012), the acclaimed feature by Lucien Castaing-Taylor and Véréna Paravel. A visceral, sensory experience, Leviathan offers a poetic perspective on life at sea and the modern fishing industry.
The event is curated by Luke Brawley of Indox, a non-fiction festival agency based in Hastings.
