Hastings Contemporary is a registered charity with a mission to bring world-class art to our spectacular coastal setting. The gallery is one of East Sussex’s leading cultural attractions, drawing visitors from all over the UK. We showcase modern and contemporary art as well as a dynamic public programme which invites people of all ages into the gallery to enjoy art and culture, and enhance their wellbeing.
Every year, we must fundraise over 80% of our income to cover the costs of every exhibition, school visit and community event. We rely on support from donors, members, trusts and foundations and companies to sustain our work.
