Experiment with sustainable printmaking techniques to create beautiful prints inspired by work in Undersea and the local Hastings coastal landscape.
Led by artist Charlotte Hailey Watts, participants will explore Tetra Pak etching and textural collagraph printing, taking work in Undersea and other artists who’ve worked with printmaking, natural materials and the coastal landscape as a starting point.
The collagraph ‘printing plates’ will be created from natural found and recycled textural elements.
Participants will have the option to experiment with printing ink made with natural pigments, as well as to use traditional printmaking ink.
All materials will be provided.
