Embrace the longest day of the year with an immersive sound ceremony featuring shamanic drum journeying and crystal singing bowl soundscapes.
Designed to guide the mind into an altered state of consciousness and the body into deep calm, this experience invites you to connect more deeply with yourself and the energy of the season.
The event will be led by Maria Christofi of The Sound Apothecary.
What to Bring
Please bring a bottle of water, a yoga mat, blanket, eye mask and layers.
Pre-existing health conditions
Due to a stimulating drumming sequence, this evening is not suitable during pregnancy or if experiencing the following conditions: epilepsy at any point in your life, pace maker or cochlear implant, severe diagnosed mental health conditions, severe tinnitus, metal implants – note that sound vibrations may be felt in implants or joint replacements.

About your facilitator
Maria Christofi is a graduate of The British Academy of Sound’s three year Sound Therapist diploma and holds 30 years of experience as a practitioner of Traditional Chinese and Shamanic Medicine, with written contributions to publications such as the annual Ignota Diary and Wild Alchemy Lab.
Previous event collaborations include Hastings Museum, Coastal Currents Arts Festival, Strange Frames Film Club, Hastings Botanical Garden, Sono Electro and A Curious Agenda Arts festival.
