Jake and Dinos Chapman are among the best-known and most significant British artists working today. In The Realm Of The Unmentionable brings together iconic pieces from the last decade with more recent creations, some made specifically for this exhibition.
Jake and Dinos’s work is concerned with consumer culture, mortality, morality, religion and horror. Their influences are broad, from Francisco Goya (1746-1828) and George Bataille (1897-1962), to Surrealism, philosophy, psychology and the Holocaust. This exceptional body of work involves a vast range of art forms, through which Jake and Dinos Chapman engage with fundamental questions about what it is to be human.
