Outdoor Painting Workshop

En plein air is a French phrase meaning “in the open air,” describing the process of painting a landscape outdoors. In this workshop, led by Joseph Legg, students will take inspiration from artists Leon Kossoff and Chaïm Soutine, creating their own local landscape paintings. Working outside the gallery, using recycled and found materials, participants will explore mark-making techniques to create texture.
