ART AND PLAY

With Abigail Norris

6pm - 8pm
£20

Winner of the Ingram Prize 2023, Abigail Norris uses materials such as latex, wax, tights, hair and vintage clothing to create uncanny and emotive sculptures.

Using basic construction techniques such as stitching, binding, and moulding, she has developed a lively language of the ‘body’. Her hybrid and figurative sculptures blur lines between plants, animals, humans and beasts.

Join Abigail in this discussion-turned-workshop to hear about her creative process, play with a range of materials and learn new construction techniques. At this hybrid event, participants will be able to create their own figurative structures, while enjoying a unique opportunity to chat with the artist directly.

You will have a chance to explore our exhibition, Immortal Apples, Eternal Eggs, to see Abigail’s work on display. Materials provided. All sales are final. We are unable to offer refunds.
