Winner of the Evelyn Williams Drawing Award 2023 Isabel Rock is a creator of contemporary fairy tales, imagining a new world order through large-scale drawings, printmaking, sculpture and short stories.
Join Isabel in this discussion-turned-workshop to hear about her creative process, play with a range of materials and learn new techniques. Participants will use their imagination to create a playful world that has meaning to them, exploring visual storytelling and the use of collage to express new ideas. This is a unique opportunity to chat with the artist directly.
You will have a chance to explore Isabel’s exhibition, Things Fall Apart, The Centre Cannot Hold. All materials are provided though participants are welcome to bring their own drawing tools and collage materials. All sales are final. We are unable to offer refunds.
Ahead of the workshop, at 4pm on 23rd October Isabel Rock will be offering an informal tour of her exhibition, which is open to all.
