For 11–16-year-olds interested in the visual arts and looking for opportunities to develop their skills.
Meeting once a month, you will take part in artist-led masterclasses, find out about career paths in the creative sector and prepare for your next steps as an artist.
This block of sessions will be led by artist Hattie Collins, and participants will develop large-scale (possibly A-0) mixed-media pieces. The first workshop will establish what participants will be creating (such as a large portrait, a favoured landscape or something more abstract). The second session will be a painting workshop where initial drawings are established and painted. The final session will allow participants to complete the works with chalk, pens and collage.
Please note, that due to exhibition turnover, this block of sessions will take place on Wednesday 10 January, Wednesday 14 February and Wednesday 20 March 2024.
