Hastings Storytelling Festival has been enriching the town since 2011, opening up the wonderful world of storytelling to the local community through a series of high profile events and workshops, championed by our shared patron, Sir Quentin Blake.

Hastings Storytelling Festival will take over the gallery’s Studio space for the week of August 5th, running a series of drop off children’s storytelling and creative workshop events for under 10’s. We are delighted to support the festival and encourage participants to enjoy Quentin Blake’s The New Dress exhibition on the gallery’s first Floor during their visit. Amongst other activities children will be making creations for the Children’s Storytelling Carnival which will take place on The Stade later in the year. Workshops will be led by practitioners Sarah Evans and Emma Hughes.
